Scanning Parameters

From the Document Server control panel, press Menu to scroll

through the scanning menu. Use to find the desired value. If

a keyboard is connected, press Tab and use the UP/Down arrow keys

to find the desired value or search the menu by typing the parameter

name (or the first letters in the parameter name).

The table below describes the available parameters for each destination

type. (The AXIS 70/70U supports e-mail destinations only):

Note:

Profile The AXIS 7000 comes pre-installed with 10 standard profiles designed

to cover most needs. The AXIS 70 comes with 4 standard PDF profiles.

Refer to “Predefined Profiles ”on page 103 for details.

The profiles are maintained by the Administrator. If you have been

granted permission by your administrator, you can define temporary

profiles. For details, refer to “Adding Temporary Profiles (AXIS 7000

only)” on page 99.

Select a profile appropriate to the document to be scanned. Documents

typically use one of the Text profiles. Pictures could use one of the

Text/Photo, Gray or Color profiles.
