Complete Network Support

AXIS StorPoint CD E100 supports the most complete list of networking proto-

cols and operating systems, simultaneously. Whether users are running NetWare

(Bindery or NDS), Windows NT, OS/2, UNIX, or Web, they can access on-line

CD/DVD data at the same time over any network.

Includes Hard Disk Caching

The AXIS StorPoint CD is now available with hard disk caching support for

applications requiring hard disk speed, and for archiving CDs to a hard disk to

expand the number of CDs available on-line to users.

Easy to Install

Based on Axis’ ThinServer

™

Technology, the AXIS StorPoint CD includes every-

thing needed to connect CD/DVD ROM drives to the network. It is file server

independent, which means it doesn’t tie up file server computing and IO

resources. It requires no client or server software to install. Users simply plug in

their Ethernet or Token Ring connector and use the Web-based installation wiz-

ard for quick installation.

Easy to Manage

The AXIS StorPoint CD has a built-in, intuitive, comprehensive Web interface

for management from any browser, anywhere on the network. All that is required

is a PC and a network connection.

Simple to Use

Access to CDs and DVDs is provided through standard PC interface tools:

Windows Explorer, NetWare clients or Web browser. In addition, AXIS StorPoint

DISCO makes accessing and organizing CDs and DVDs even easier.

AXIS StorPoint DISCO is a small piece of free client software that gathers all

networked CDs, no matter where they are, and presents them in one convenient

folder for simple point-and-click access.
