CameraTampering

CameraTamperingcangenerateanalarmwheneverthecameraisrepositioned,orwhenthelensiscovered,sprayedorseverely

defocused.Tosendanalarm,forexampleanemail,anactionrulemustbesetup.

Toconguretampering:

1.GotoDetectors>CameraTampering.

2.SettheMinimumduration,thatis,thetimethatmustelapsebeforeanalarmisgenerated.Increasetimetoprevent

falsealarmsforknownconditionsthataffecttheimage.

3.SelectAlarmfordarkimagesifanalarmshouldbegeneratediflightsaredimmedorturnedoff,orifthelensissprayed,

covered,orrenderedseverelyoutoffocus.

4.ClickSave.

Toconguretheproducttosendanalarmwhentamperingoccurs:

1.GotoEvents>ActionRules.

2.ClickAddtosetupanewactionrule.

3.EnteraNamefortheactionrule.

4.UnderCondition,selectDetectorsfromtheTriggerlist.

5.SelectTamperingfromthelistofdetectors.

6.Optionally,selectascheduleandsetadditionalconditions.

7.Selecttheaction.Tosendanemail,selectSendNoticationandselectaRecipientfromthelistofdenedrecipients.

Note

TheWhiletheruleisactiveoptionunderDurationcannotbeusedwithcameratampering,sincecameratamperingdoesnot

haveadurationandonceithasbeentriggereditwillnotautomaticallyreturntoitsuntriggeredstate.

MotionDetection

Motiondetectionisusedtogenerateanalarmwhenevermovementstartsorstopsinthecameraview.

Motiondetectionisconguredbydeningupto10IncludeandExcludewindows:

•Includewindows—deneareaswheremotionshouldbedetected

•Excludewindows—deneareaswithinanIncludewindowthatshouldbeignored(areasoutsideIncludewindows

areautomaticallyignored).

Tocontrolthenumberofmotiondetectionalarms,theparametersObjectSize,HistoryandSensitivitycanbeadjusted.See

MotionDetectionParametersonpage27.

Oncemotiondetectionwindowsarecongured,theAxisproductcanbeconguredtoperformactionswhenmotionisdetected.
